8/14/98 Progress, i mean lots!
Sorry for the lack of updates lately. First, the selecting, we got most of sector selecting done. The sectors are suppose to light up when selected, but we got a flash instead, still working on that. Next, the toolbar, we're making that the info bar, 'cause we're making an actual "toolbar" with zooming, and a bunch of quick access buttons to the menus. FragMaker now has on-mouse-over scrollbars and toolbar, it appears only when you place your mouse over it! It will have everything future software will have in interface!!!
Legacy
ResDe will get the Legacy source code for FragThrough since there'll be lots WADs made for Legacy.
8/6/98 FragThrough Boom
Eh, FragThrough now supports Boom!!!/FONT>
7/30/98 Sector Bar
We're now working on the Sector Toolbar, and about the tabs thing in the toolbar, it's sorta like the palettes in Photoshop. One thing it can't do is dragging the tabs out and form a separate palette with that tab, well, only Mac Photoshop can do that anyways so no sweat right? Well, we'll work on that dragging thing later, for now, we got more important stuff to do.
7/27/98 DW Password
Sorry for the lack of updates lately, I got the new Doomworld password a bit late.

Memory crap
The first public release of FragMaker was a HUGE ram eater. ResDe just lowered some of limits and the memory requirements are much lower.

7/15/98 News Archive
The old news from June have been taken off the main page and into the old news page.

Download page
I added a download page for the future public releases.

7/14/98 FragMaker v0.01
That's right! FragMaker's first public release! FragMaker v0.01 is released! Download it here now!
7/13/98 Big change in interface
Hmmm, the old interfaces wasn't so good, the screenshots look like a DOS program (except for the windows menubar). Well, we're switching to Multiple Document Interface!!! For those of you who don't know any of the programing terms, basically, Multiple Document Interface means multi-thread everything. You can open two maps at one time, the same toolbar can be used on both maps without being refreshed (no editor has been able to do this, at least, not that I know of). Since there are no Multi Document Interface programs that are purely 32-bit, we're probably gonna really kick DEEP's ass! (that was our mission, DEEP can't do this)

Screenshot
Got a new screenshot of today's claim, yep, multiple document interface, see it here.

7/11/98 Team Edition
Looks like another great idea is born. FragMaker Team Edition! It's editing over a network, so more than one person can be editing on the same map at one time or just watching another person work!
7/8/98 We're not finished!
Some of you emailed saying that there thing mode or other modes don't work. The fact is, THERE IS NO THING MODE. We're not finished with FragMaker!!! The reason why we emailed a rough version of FragMaker long before completetion is because FragMaker has not been run on any computer other than ResDe's!!!
7/7/98 What we got so far
At around 8:00 CDT tonight, ResDe will send the beta testers a first peek at FragMaker, or what it is so far.
7/4/98 Got beta testers
Yep, goto the tester page and you'll find yourself looking at a list of people instead of a registration form. For those of you who are chosen as beta testers, ResDe will send you a .zip file when ever he feels like it. He'll get one out in less than a week.
7/1/98 Last Day
Today is the last day we'll be accepting FragMaker Beta Testing forms. Tommorrow we'll start making the FINAL decisions on who will be beta testers.
