A Story From: Andrew Yick (bioz@geocities.com)

Here's my story. One day, while looking for stuff to download on a BBS (are they still around?), i talked to this guy in those chat rooms. Before i knew of how to use the mouse/keyboard combo, i was just a lamer. But this guy introduced me to the basics of Doom2. That night, i called up my friend and we play doom2 over my super fast 9600 modem. I remember that night, it was soooo exciting. After almost 3 hours of modem play, my arm was sore and i was sweating! We almost tried every setting in the dm.exe program. My most vibrant memory of doom2 was in Map1, where u shoot the bfg against a wall and run into the hallway. A few seconds later, i see on the messege dialog "what the hell?". Hehehe... i don't think anything will ever reach the excitment and fun of doom2, the best game of all time. Quake was also really fun, but it was hard adjusting to the mouse look. Well, theres my story of Doom2 DM'ing. See you guys in the shotgun room =)
