OLD NEWS 2001: - May 26, 2001 - Some Changes... I've made some minor changes. Added a link to Doomcenter at the link page. Added a direct link to King Elvis frontend. Finally I deleted the links to the new models on the doomgl page, as those can already be found at the ZDoomGL page. - May 25, 2001 - Screenshots updated I've updated my screenshots. I made them brighter, and I also corrected the thumbnails. Broken... It seems like the link to the new frontend by King Elvis seems to be down for the moment. Hopefully it's up soon. - May 24, 2001 - New Lights.ini + Frontend Link Slayer has a new lights.ini file that's available for download at the zdoomgl page. Install it over the old ini file.  I also have a new link to a nice frontend (launcher) to ZDoomGL. This can also be found at the zdgl page. - May 21, 2001 - New Models Slayer's released some new md2 models. It's the same link as Slayer's old one, meaning not the "complete package". - May 20, 2001 - Screenshots added. I've added some screenshots showing off most of ZDoomGL's features...better late than never ;) Also, a link to my personal website is up. - May 19, 2001 - New Official ZDoomGL version, 0.66. Yep, I've released a new official one now. This package is the same as the 0.66 beta, found at the forum, but with the addition of a voodoo3 batch as well as a small modification to the text file. This new version has a very welcome addition of unlimited resolution support! Amongst many other things changed since the latest official one, 0.6b. By the way, I've also updated the bug list. Don't get scared by the few new added bugs, this version is much more stable than latest official, version 0.6b. - April 24, 2001 - New MD2 models I've added a new md2 pack made by Slayer. Check it out. FAQ Updated. Need I say more? Nope... ;P Bug List Updated Again. Bug list is updated with two new bugs regarding the hud md2 models. If you use those, the updated list might be an interesting read. - April 17, 2001 - MD2 model packs revised. I've added all md2 models into one zip that contains all models. All you have to do is to unzip them into your main doom dir, and the pathways will automatically be configured. Note that if you already have downloaded all the seperate packages that were on the site before, you will not need this zip. It contains no new models. - March 28, 2001 - Bug List Updated. I've updated the bug list with one new bug. Also, I've archived the news into year categories, see above. Finally, I've made some minor changes. - January 19, 2001 - Bug list overhauled. I've just overhauled the bug list to hopefully look a bit fancier. The looks is the only update to it, no new bugs introduced and no ones removed. For that, you'd have to track down one or wait til Kokak releases a new version of ZGL ;) - January 12, 2001 - Bug list updated. The bug list has been updated with 3 new bugs. Also, I have overhauled it a bit, made it (hopefully) better. It's from now also referred to as the Official Bug List. - January 9, 2001 - A new link added. I need to say no more...check it. - January 7, 2001 - Updated Site Links I have also updated the links on this site; removed outdated links to dead news pages like doomshack for instance. Also, since Kokak has moved his personal page, that link is updated too. First version of the FAQ released. I have now released the FAQ. As I have pointed out in it, it's under construction and that you are very welcome with your questions. But please make them at the forum so that my or Kokak's mailbox doesn't get too flooded. Also, I have added a MD2 .ini file to the page that removes the HUD MD2's for those of you who doesn't like them. ZDoomGL v0.6 released. v0.6 of ZDoomGL has just been released. Various bug fixes as well as a textrure misalignment fix has been implemented. This is a must-download! =) But as usual you can read the text file before downloading. Also, the bug list has been updated. This ZDoomGL version corrects 7 of those bugs...among those is the startup crash discovered by some users... This version also works under Windows 2000. - January 2, 2001 - Happy New Year! I guess I'll start by wishing everyone a happy new year...one day too late =) but still... ZDoomGL v0.5b in Windows 2000 I for one, can't make ZDoomGL v0.5 to work in Windows 2000. I know one more forum reader that have the same problem, and now I ask if other readers have gotten the same problem. Those of you who have Win2k and have tried it out could make me and Kokak a favor =) and post your experiences on the forum. Thanks. The bug list has been updated with this bug.
