well i was thinking that since the vadrigar took the doomguy and there is alot of hellish maps in q3 maybe doomboy fell down into hell?
and maybe the vadrigar made a contract with the devil that the doomguy would have some deathmatches with some cyberdemons.
or there could be that the doomguy just killed the vadrigar,took with him some other gladiators and went to hell to defeat the devil.

I donīt think this is a good idea. Itīs ok to throw together all the different Wolfenstein/Doom/Quake universes in mods like "Generations Arena", but when you have stuff like that in Doom3 it would change the story into a funny fairy tale.
