My Win98 finally blew up beyond repair, so I switched to win2000. One of the bad things I discovered is that all editors refuse to work!!!! Dos editors crash with gpf, win editors try to read some fictious memory addresses, make illegal operations and so on. This sucks. Anyone had the same problems?

Get another copy of Win98. Win2000 isn't as reliable (at least thats what i hear.)

Nah, Win '98 has never ever crapped up my computer, whereas '95 used to do it all the time. I seem to remember that '95 was particularly fond of destroying your registry...

Next time, I would recommend you upgrade your Windows98 machine to Windows95.

Actually, I managed to run wadauthor. Only it won't work with ZDoom configuration, but it works fine with doom2 config.

I think you need to run zwadconv.exe on doom2.wad.
