I use DCK 3.62, but it frequently crashes on me due to an "unhandled exception." It gets frustrating when you build and build, and then you have to start all over again. I have to save very often, but it's still easy to work with to me. It's the only level editor I have besides Wintex.

Go to the main DOOM World page and visit the utlities link in the menu on the right, try them all and see what you like best.
Most people like DEEP Sea or WAD Author, I think they are the easiest to learn, but others are good too. I recommend trying them all.

Easiest to learn would be Waded 1.83ß, but it's also the most crash-prone.
