I think I've heard someone say you can disable jumping and looking in Zdoom. I need to disable them because looking can ruin the look of some sky textures and jumping can ruin them too, but it also allows you to cheat and in some levels skip way ahead. So how can I do this?

You need to instruct the player to go into the options menu, select Gameplay Options, and turn "Allow Freelook" and "Allow Jump" to No. Of course if the player chooses to ignore your instructions there's not much you can do.

An alternative is to have a tall sky (e.g., 240 tall), which takes care of the tiling short sky most of the time. Another alternative is to get the player to turn "Stretch Short Skies" to On under Display Options. Sometimes this causes the sky to look crappy, but it'll take care of your sky tiling problem.

Only two things are certain: DooM and taxes
