Yeah, go to www.winzip.com, download it. Or look for pkzip.exe.

You don't transform things into zip files, the zipping program take the original file and compresses it to it's smallest size, and makes a copy of it, naming it something.zip. So you'll have your original file, being a .wad, and a new compressed file, benig a .zip.

Download a zip-creating/extracting program such as WinZip, then follow it's directions on how to do so.
