this is just to find out what everyone likes best. Which of the specail "ports" (i think that what they call em anyways:) Like zdoom, and legacy, or boom. Personally i think legacy is better than all the others put together. it has some great features, and it has a kick ass interface and all.

Zdoom is the best for playing things. It handles everything except ddf's and 3dfloors
Legacy is like a lesser version of Zdoom, except it handles 3d floors.
Edge is best for expanding on, and it handles 3d floors.
Boom isn't very good because anything it can do, Zdoom can do.

well i kinda like doom lagacy best cus its cool. but on thing i would like to see is slopes and 2d floors combined in a single doom game.

I thought the latest version of Legacy did that (slopes and 3d floors) or was that Vavoom?

It's Vavoom, although no doubt Legacy will get slopes before long, and ZDoom will get 3D floors before long :)
