I've noticed for a LOOOONG time that the zombie soldiers in Doom/Doom2 don't look like you. Supposedly they are your platoon-mates; therefore, they should look like, and carry the same weapons as you(except for the Sargeants).
Thr truth is I only play Doom two times a day-daytime and nighttime!-DooMBoy

yeah, that's what the player would look like if id software hadn't decided to alter the player's sprite so it changed color in deathmatch and co-op games. Try removing a little of the blood from the zombiemans getup and you'll see its exactly the same sprite.

So they're missing their helmets and have on camoflauge uniforms instead of olive drab, so what. Thankfully, at least all the soldiers in the game don't have that pornstar belly cutout. Yuck.
