Anyone think this might be a good idea?
The purpose would be to offer, for example, more in-depth reviews of everything that comes into /newstuff over a month, interviews with assorted Doom-related people, possibly the Doom Comic, and maybe random wild speculation on Doom 3.
Oh, and to get id to give an exclusive on Doom 3 to this rather than to PC Lamer.

Linguica tried to do one a couple of years ago. It was called "Doomwire", or something like that anyway.
I'm not sure what happened to it, I guess it kind of petered out without anyone noticing :)

Yes, I am... and it makes sense if only because then we can give to those people who actually want more information (and/or don't like trying to work with the archives here).
Plus, we could always do an annual CD of "The Best Of /newstuff"... :->

I wouldn't mind having a magazine devoted to Doom, except for the fact that it would be about 4 pages thick every month, and 10 people would subscribe to it. Oh well.
