Here is a different One:
There is a big pit, and you must get to the other side of the pit, but it's blocked off by some hellspawn, and if you fall down into the pit, lets just say that you won't survive that long, unless you shoot the enemies that are in the pit.
mwahahahaha This is a tough one and I will give you a hint:
The level isn't from any of the PC DOOMs.

Correct. Alpha Quadrant was one of the many levels from DOOM 64 which featured the half-light half-dark type sectors.

Uhh... it's suggested that you do stay away from that. Of course it's your own trip so be my guest... but uh please be advised that there is a warning around that one ok?

hmmm.. if you mean pre-ultimate doom, i would have to say e1m5 phobos lab. they made the exit to the secret with the teleporter requiring the blue key that wasn't there before.

I have posted a question of what level it is to Lut, but no one seems to be in that thread anymore, so anyway I will put it in again:
The level I'm thinking of never existed in any of the alpha versions or press releases of DOOM, and it's floor texture is slightly different on Console DOOMs. It's an episode 1 level.

Sorry it isn't E1M2. It appeared in Alpha Versions of DOOM which is 0.4 and 0.5, and it also appeared as a level in the press release. Give you another hint:
PSX DOOM includes some Heavy Weapon Dudes and a Pain Elemental on Ultra-Violence.

Correct! Hangar only makes an appearance on the Shareware Version of DOOM and Registered Version of DOOM. It later was improved to include a shortcut which allows you to reach the mega armor secret much faster when the Ultimate DOOM came out.

I'll give you a clue, about the clue. You can meet a cyberdemon if you're quick enough. There are a cyberdemon, and a timed event connected, but not too closely.
And, it's the PSX version.

You'll be at this all day and all night, so I'll tell you. It's Twilight Descends - a PSX only level.
The cybie in question is on the Marshes level, which you have TO BE QUICK to get to, IN A SECRET.
It _was_ connected, but not too closely, like I say. Pretty hard when you have to think of two levels. I'll give you both the point, for saying Marshes - it was DAMNED close !

i assumed 1 room. remember in house of pain where there's 2 square columns with a switch on each side? there are 4 doors. the switches either open or close the doors.
