I've been having this damn problem with doom and doom2.
I can play the games for about 30 minutes, and no problems at all. (dosdoom or legacy etc...)
But all of the sudden, the sound's getting distorted, garbled, really terrible. :( makes you wanna shut off the machine.
I'm sure the soundcard is set at the right irq etc..
maybe a conflicting device? Maybe my soundcard is sharing irq5 with another device? How can i resolve this?
I've never had this problem before. Upgraded my machine in march and in april bam.. :(
Really sucks, not being able to play your fav game to the fullest. I mean, c'mon :) what's 30 minutes right?
