... but it´s been a while since I last searched the web for new WADs. It seems that the old faithful CDROM.COM is no more, so I am really lost here.

Could anyone send me links to good download sites with tons of WADs?

Then look for the "idgames" folder. and the link does work because i just tryed it.

you´re right Laser bud. But I cant find my way through the ftp tree. As I recall from 4 years ago, I should go to pub/doom2 or pub/idgames, but none of these directories seem to be working for me.
