OK, I'm behind a firewall/proxy, I can't use DOS AT ALL, and i got this nippy message that appears every 30 mins or so. I wanna play DM DooM over the Net. How do i do this?

I got a problem too:
Me and <my friend> are trying to get a game of zdoom/doom2 to work of ICQ.
We both have the same version (1.22), both have the appropriate cmd-line params.
When we try to play however, we both end up with an "invalid page fault" - no matter who initiates the game.
He lives in the UK, I live in USA,illinois (about 6000 miles difference). Would we have too high ping rate anyway?

I think greensting http://www.greensting.addr.com posted a FAQ on using ICQ with zdoom
Doom is probably only for Doom players and possibly not childish hackers or people who aid and abet them
