I know Doom95 is old but i still use it.
whenever i try and play a multiplayer game, the game runs for a few seconds and then it closes and says "error Consistency Failure (1800 should be -34525) or some other numbers.

what the heck is it?

Not having Doom95 this is only a suggestion, I THINK the doom2.wad for that is different to the one used on multiplay servers, check, if you're trying to connect to csdoom/zdaemon then their wad size is 14,604,584 bytes, check yours. If it is as I suspect you need the full doom2 1.9, But you CAN connect to any that are running map07
