There is no EDGE 1.25 Alpha, it's a WIP (Work In Progress, not an Alpha). Minor point, but nonetheless, no savegames. We're still rewriting them.

Also, read the readme.1st in the WIP zip file, the firs thing under the known issues is:

Known Issues:
- Savegames do not work. The code is currently being developed, and
will be ready for the full 1.25 release.
