I know it's possible to have the players weapons reload with EDGE, but would it be possible to do the same with the enemies weapons? I personally think it would be cool to see a shotgun guy stop shooting after eight shots and start refilling it with shells. Or a zombie ram a new clip into his rifle after firing off 30 shots. Sure, it would make it easier to kill them, but it would be cool. Can it be done?

Yes, in EDGE you can't do this, but in Vavoom there shouldn't be problems with this.

But you need C skills and a compiler to make it work in Vavoom.

You can make enemies do it in ANY Doom port, then.

Yes, but the advantage with Vavoom's progs is that you don't have 7065472 different ports for each single level. IIRC you can include the progs directly in the WAD which makes it even easier to use them.

Won't work. The clips only affect weapons, which monsters don't reference (e.g. weapons.ddf).

Good idea tho.
