all i really want from doom2 right now is higher resolution.
i d/l'd dosdoom source port, but can't get it to work. right after booting it shuts down saying: exiting due to signal SIGSEGV
page fault at..etc.
i am not literate in programming language, so i don't know what i can do from here.
if it matters, i unzipped dosdoom in the same directory as doom2.
any suggestions?

I wouldn't recommend DOS DOOM, too buggy.

Try ZDOOM or Legacy. They will do what you need.
