ZDooM has many awesome features, some of which don't work well with GBD2.  Listed below areall the Recommended setting for playing a game of GBD2 with ZDooM.  The -optional- Ecto-1 Driving options, are simply options to set to make driving the Ecto-1 a little more realistic in the game.

Standard Gameplay Options

[Optional] Ecto-1 Driving Options

OPTIONS

  • Always Mouselook [ON]

  • Jumping can be enabled

  • Gameplay options

    • [NO] Falling Damage

    • [YES] Weapon Stay in DM

  • Display Options

    • Crosshair [Big Thing]

    • Stretch Skies

    • Blood Type [Sprites]

    • Bullet Puff Type [Sprites]

PLAYER

  • Auto Aim [Never]

OPTIONS

  • Gameplay options

    • [NO] Allow Freelook

    • [NO] Allow Jump (Unless you've installed Hydraulics in the Ecto-1)

PLAYER

  • Auto Aim [Always]

...And Just for Kicks...

DO NOT USE THIS SETTINGS FOR NORMAL GAMEPLAY!!

For a Fun Time Set the following options

PLAYER

  • Set Skin to Slimer

Go to The console (Press the ~ Key) and Type fly

Now you can fly around as Slimer
