Like Aliens TC, Gothic DM was a bit of a first. 32 Deathmatch only levels, with new sounds, graphics and textures.
Unlike Aliens, you should believe the hype. All the levels look fantastic and very...um...gothic. They are perfect for Deathmatching round, and the new textures suit it down to the ground. I'm particularly fond of the stained glass. Textures are manipulated in ways that weren't seen until this WAD came along.
The only problem I have with this was is that the levels are so detailed that on a slow computer (such as my crappy 486), playing can get a little jerky. Persevere though - it's worth it.
