Pretty good level, nice looks, decent play albeit with a fair deal of pistol action at the start.x

This is spiritually similar to the original, although thankfully the layout is different. The monster placement and general ambience are similar, although more lava-y. It's hard to judge, because the original E3M1 was pretty dull; this is also uninspiring, with lots of tiny cramped corridors and a fair amount of pistol shooting, but in that respect it does what it sets out to do. Not as good as id=14816 though.x
