Description: This wad uses many "tricks" not specific to any port to create a tremendous 3d atmosphere including but not restricted to over/under bridge effect, room over room, and more. It is compatible and will only work with Zdoom and Legacy as far as I can tell. It will NOT work with GL ports or Vanilaa Doom2. The textures use were mostly taken from a texture wad released by Nick Baker originally slated for Episode 5 of the Nightmare Project but which apparently never got off the ground. The original file has been altered dramatically with a bunch of new custom textures created by myself and Shitbag.
Credits: ...Nick Baker - who released his texture wad for public use (text file included from the original zipped file). ....Shitbag who originally explained how to create a 3d bridge and make it functional. This techinque became instrumental in the design of the wad as almost every 3d effect I created is based on it in one way or another. ....Eric Buck for playtesting :-) ....Ace - for playtesting ....Devin Sinitiere - for playtesting ....Jive - for playtesting
Base: New level from scratch
Build time: 2 months
Editor(s) used: DETH
Bugs: While there don't appear to be any "bugs" in the level you may notice that you can sometimes get to things faster than they can move - such as the inivisble lines lowering to allow you to go under a bridge. This level has been EXTENSIVELY playtested using Zdoom (cab 38) and Legacy. Vanilla Doom2 will most likely crash. GL ports don't know how to render some of this stuff very well so they are basically useless. * Misc. Notes *
