Description: Two-pack of separate WADs entitled "Fear of the Dark" and "Blood of the Earth" respectively. These are the first two maps I've ever created - they may be included in a SomethingAwful community megawad in the future but I'm releasing them as stand-alones for people to check out. Both levels can be played and completed from a pistol start (as I would recommend to get the intended effect). Neither is particularly long and shouldn't be overly difficult for an experienced Doomer, though ammo and health are fairly tightly judged, so bear that in mind.
Credits: id Software of course, CodeImp for creating Doom Builder, H2OMelon at SomethingAwful for getting the mapping bug eating at me with his excellent Doom mapping tutorials
Base: New from scratch
Build time: Approx. 50 hours per map
Editor(s) used: Doom Builder 2
Bugs: Probably the odd texture misalignment but no other outstanding issues that I know of.

A community megawad from somethingawful? Hell no.x

Map 02 is junk that doesn't have any solution. Doors won't open. And I'm using the proper version of GZDoom. These wads suck. 1.5/5. x

The first map isn't bad; pretty short, but with a unique style and a few nice touches. The second map cannot be completed in GZDoom as far as I can tell. 3/5 for the first, 0/5 for the second. - ZZx

Map01 is actually very good. The layout is funny and looks good. Gameplay is OK, just using SSG to deal with all monsters, I like it. But Map02...this is a good example for mappers should check their map(s) before release. Looks like the starting area is wrong because there is no way to get out and deadly stuck, too bad! I only rating Map01 because it's not fair rating it low by fault of Map02. 4/5 -playerlinx
