Doomkid

Map01 and Map06 are the worst of the bunch, because theyre too large and winding. The others actually look pretty fun, in that Deathmatch-Of-Old kind of way. Texturing is all over the place, but fun ideas are present.

Description           : This wad has a main area with a raised platform
                        called 'The Cage.'  It has lots of goodies, but
                        you are very exposed when you're in it.  The
                        only way out is through teleporters that are
                        a little difficult to get to.

                        lunches of playtesting.

Notes                 : This wad is cool because there are MANY remote
                        starting points with some stuff to get you going
                        This means NO cheap kills. (Yeah, that means
                        you have to EARN them all!)

                        actually look down/up at each other!

Notes                 : I think this has some interesting features
                        that you don't ordinarily find in a deathmatch
                        wad.  Be careful of the trench in the main
                        arena!

Description           : This is an intimate wad with an interior room
                        (strangely shaped like a hexagon) and an
                        exterior ring around it.  Inside the room are
                        1-way walls so you can see into the BFG area,
                        but they can't see out.  I hope you like my use
                        of the default graphics.

Misc. Author Info     : This is the office I used to work in every day.

Description           : This is a floor plan of the office I work in.
                        There are 2 FULL FLOORS of cubicles, offices,
                        libraries, reception areas, etc. AND there is
                        the roof!  The elevators and staircases all
                        work as you would expect them to.

                        lunches of playtesting.

Notes                 : I'm sure I'm not the first person to make a
                        wad file of his office, but I thought this
                        particular office had alot of advantages when
                        it comes to a deathmatch.  Each office has 
                        some goodies, so look everywhere.
                        ===> There are NO SECRETS in this level as
                        that (in my opinion) defeats the balance of
                        a deathmatch.  You already have a BIG
                        advantage if you've played this more than
                        someone else.

Description           : The octogon shaped main room has a themed
                        offshoot on each side.  The themes allow you
                        to know where you are in the wad at all times.
                        (It's hard to get turned around.)  This wad
                        is EXCELLENT because it combines long-range
                        battles with close encounters.
