Description: I think you're gonna like this one. Ladders. No, really. A level map with blinking indicators. Mayhem. Destruction. Plot twists. Air ducts. Vents. Secrets. Suspense.
Credits: The authors of DEU 5.21, DCK 1.1a and 2.1b, BSP 1.2x, WACKER b7, DEUTEX 3.3, RMB 1.2, and, of course, DOOM!
Base: New level from scratch
Build time:
Editor(s) used: DEU 5.21 GCC, DCK 1.1b, DCK 2.1b, BSP 1.2x, WACKER b7, DEUTEX 3.3, RMB 1.2. This wad is over 500K for one level (whew) and underwent approximately 150 different revisions, about 30 of which were lost when one of the tools crashed in mid-stream, for whatever reason. Probably not the tools' fault. I did some really wierd stuff to fool the DOOM engine.

There's a Doom I version of this as well (id=1014). This version is better, if only because it has the super shotgun, which is like beautiful mother's milk. The map has lots of ducts and corridors, and the gameplay involves searching a maze for some switches, flicking them, going to an switch room, and then flicking some more switches. There's a "final battle" that doesn't work; you will have exited the level before the monsters start to teleport in.x
