I am sure there are some bugs I haven't found, but this program is was only made to hold me over until somebody else made a good one. It is VERY SLOW however. A 300Kb file can take around 30 minutes or more depending on your computer. It was written in Modula-2 so I was very limited. What the program does is search the old wad file for doom 1 texture strings and replaces them with ones that can be used in doom 2.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN DON'T USE IT!  DON'T BITCH, IT'S FREE!

HINT: IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAVE YOURSELF ALOT OF TIME WHEN TRANSFORMING PWADS
THEN BACKUP THE TEXT.DAT FILE AND EDIT THE ORIGINAL.  ERASE ANY WHOLE LINES
WHERE YOU THINK THEY MAY NOT BE NEEDED.  (In other words, if the pwad just 
covers level 1 then delete all the "ExMX=MAPxx." with the exception of
"E1M1=MAP01.")

You can easily change the substiuted textures by editing the TEXT.DAT file.

To use the program, put a pwad file in it's directory.

type "wlztext"

answer the questions (the first one asks whatthe file to be modified is, and 
the second asks what the destinations name is.)
