I think you're gonna like this one. Ladders. No, really. A level map with blinking indicators. Mayhem. Destruction. Plot twists. Air ducts. Vents. Secrets. Suspense. |

DEU 5.21 GCC, DCK 1.1b, BSP 1.2x, WACKER b7, RMB 1.2. This wad is over 500K for one level (whew) and underwent approximately 150 different revisions, about 30 of which were lost when one of the tools crashed in mid-stream, for whatever reason. Probably not the tools' fault. I did some really wierd stuff to fool the DOOM engine. |

| Very impressive for a 1994 wad. | x | | There's a Doom II version of this as well (id=1957), but I haven't played it. This version is poor. It exists to showcase some ladders (not bad for 1994), some tunnels (meh), and some new textures (which are quite decent). The map feels like a deathmatch level, except that it has no flow, there's a crate maze, and it would be no fun to play. Single-player gameplay involves fighting barons of hell in single-file corridors, which is unentertaining to say the least. | x | | Superb. | x |
