Reviews:
| Very nostalgic in appearance in that it's basic, grim and depressing, like many UDoom wads of its day. A real "Doom moment" when you first see the green marble castle structure, and an excellent attack with creatures coming through the flames. Gameplay is not really there and there is no sense of progression, with each new area being completely divorced from the rest of the map in terms of appearance. Building interior layout is too basic. Probably one to avoid despite the amusing story in the text file. | x | | Great fun - a big, challenging map where the areas link together in ways that may not be obvious at first glance. | x | | Lots of fun to be had. 4/5 - Belial | x | | Superb map. | x | | GOD! | x | | Less a "city" than a variation on the "one-man siege" genre of Doom wads... here, you have to take out the outlying forts before attacking Hellspawn Central. Only problem is that, if you use Zdoom, the bridge across the moat might not come up. | x | | Definitely *not* one to avoid! A very memorable map with good large-scale interconnected battles. | x |
