| welcome back in 94, the design is very simple and the gameplay fairly easy 3/5 - PerOxyd | x | | I really liked that map, atmospheric
4/5 ~Xsnake | x | | I quit just the level started. Levels with lots of goodies in starting room = shit. 0/5 | x | | This is dated December 2003. You fight 162 weak monsters in an update of id=12664 (which was in turn an update of id=7508). There are some spurious effects in the modern style - sloped floors, swish doors, a particle fountain, fake sector-on-sector etc - which do nothing to mask the fact that the layout is a bunch of empty, undetailed, mostly pointless rooms with a handful of baddies in each. Doesn't work as nostalgia and it's not much fun to play. | x |
