Reviews:
| pretty-ish but too standard and symetrical. Gameplay is more frustrating than smooth. Not really enough health or ammo for a 'regular' level. - pritch | x | | Needs to be played as part of an episode, not from a pistol start. | x | | Actually quite a good map. Would fit very well into the Doom2 master levels. 4/5 -pc | x | | Christ what an puke level this is, don't waste your time on my early work people 0/5 -Dutch Devil | x | | It's interesting to compare this with the castle levels that were so common in 1994/95; this one is a lot larger, although the design isn't much more advanced (it's very square). It starts off linear and tricky, but becomes easier and more expansive as it goes on. A bit wandery, although the designer has put in some clues. There are some very useful secrets. It feels like a big solid level from 1996, e.g. Manor.wad on the Master Levels CD. | x |
