"Bugs: No"? Not quite, as this was obviously not thoroughly playtested, especially MAP01. For the rest, the maps play just like the originals they were based on, so MAP01 is a tedious puzzle-driven techbase, made worse by trying to have too much detail with CDoom's limited resolution, and MAP02 is like a 1994 WAD made "3D!!!". Not the worst of what's out for CDoom, but definitively not the best.x
Map01 was great, has some nice detail and good atmosphere (despite some weirdly shaded 3d floors and some missing actors that yield the... well, "yield" sign to signify missing actor sprites or data)... but what the hell was with Map02? It was like two different people made it. Map02 was either the author running out of ideas and steam utterly and completely, or his baby brother made it after playing a 1994 wad.x
^ The "author" actualy made none of these maps. Read the textfile. They were converted from existing EDGE and Legacy maps just because they were already in a similar Room-over-Room pseudo-3D format, just to showcase CDoom. Of course they are inconsistend in quality. What source port did you use to play it and you got the "missing" sign? AFAIK it won't play (correctly, at least) with anything else than CDoom. -Maesx
