* Instructions *

Installing this patch requires a fresh install of Hexen version 1.1.  This
should hopefully work for any of the retail releases that are out there.
The patch will delete some files that are included in Hexen 1.1 but not 1.0.
If you get errors about files not found towards the end, don't worry.
Additionally, hexen.exe and hexen.wad are the primary interests, so if you
don't have the v1.1 files of anything else for any reason, no sweat. :)

This patch requires DOS or any compatible systems.  Modern operating systems
often don't support DOS, so you might have to load this in DOSBox, DOSEMU,
VirtualBox, VMware... etc.

1. Install a clean copy of Hexen 1.1 from your CD.
 2. Unzip hxndwngr.zip into the C:\HEXEN directory (or wherever you installed
    Hexen).
 3. Run patch.bat
 4. Enjoy!
