Description: |
A 5 level mapset for DooM II. It is a reimagining of the Knee Deep in the Dead storyline. The maps were made to emulate the feel of E1 maps from Ultimate DooM, while using DooM II's resources. |

| Architecture is very basic and simple and detail is nearly non-existent. Somehow yet, this doesn't give off a vibe of an unproffessional map and some fights are interesting. Not exactly bad, but nothing exceptional too. | x | |

| I thought the gameplay was pretty good. The last level could have been alot more...3/5 | x | |

| Mapset mostly in MAP03-style, I'll rate it as such. Map layout is very simple and rectangular. Detailing is almost absent. Texture use is very limited but consistent, with only a few misaligments. Monster placement @ UV is not quite smart but basically ok, except for imho too many AVs. Gameplay is mostly very comparible with MAP03, so nowadays considered as quite simple. Overall: solid 3/5 if you like the style and don't expect something special; if you're done with MAP03: skip it. | x | |

| Fun layouts, passable modifications to some of the monsters (not real big on triple shot barons), bite sized episode fit for consumption. | x | |

| gotta love the modern wads that have classic gameplay. | x | |

| Nothing too terribly special or memorable, just some darn fun maps. (Oh, and the surprise in MAP05 made me smile.) | x |
