        This patch will replace the pistol in Doom2 (should work with Doom 1
but I haven't tested it) with a Mac10 automatic.
        It was created from an original patch by Gene Fulmer.  I cleaned up 
the graphics quite a bit and am re-releasing it.  Most of the credit goes to 
the original author, but because of the time I spent on this thing, I think 
I'll give myself some credit too.

I am not responsible for any problems this patch may cause, nor will
I give any technical support for it--I wouldn't worry too much, though.

This patch is not a product of Id Software.  It is in no way connected
or affiliated with them.  Do not contact them regarding this patch.  They will

GETTING THIS THING TO WORK

-YOU MUST HAVE DEHACKED v2.3+ FOR THIS PATCH TO WORK CORRECTLY
-Put all the files from the zip into your Doom or Doom2 directory  
-Run MYMAC10.BAT --it will create the useable wad file out of MYMAC10.WAD
-Run MAC10.BAT to play Doom2 with the pistol replaced by the Mac10
-If you want to try this thing with Doom 1, you'll have to edit the .bat file
 a little--for brevity I'm not going to explain how to do it
