| too many pointless rooms and the acid deals to mutch damig 1/5 | x | | This is a tedious level from 1996. It has almost 300 monsters packed into a fairly small space, mostly former humans and mancubusessi. The design is angular and looks hand-drawn. It's consistently unentertaining, just of a lot of bare corridors with monsters in, and has lots of crappy design choices; a crushing ceiling trap, a narrow catwalk, lots of slime, a spiral maze, tonnes of hitscan monsters (and very little health). One plus one is two. | x | | While not necessarily good, it was actually fun to play. Kind of difficult to finish without constant map checking in a level editor. You can get trapped in sector 88. Plenty of opportunities for ghost monsters. I really wanted to give it a 3, but a crusher without warning near a megasphere is a big no-no. 2/5 stars, vdgg | x |
