Thanks for downloading the Full Metal Jacket sound patch for Doom.
This is my second sound patch that I've released for Doom.
The first was a DarkWing Duck sound patch, give it a listen
if you haven't already.  I think it can be found in the main
FTP doom directory under sound patches.  I'm not exactly sure
where it can be found, seeing as I do not have a live internet
account.  Anyway, as far as this patch goes, it's a good one. 
Unzip the contents into your Doom directory, and hit fmj-in.bat.
To take out the Full Metal Jacket sounds, hit fmj-out.bat.
It only patches 12 sounds though.  You would think that a movie
like Full Metal Jacket would have a lot of samples to take for 
doom, but it doesn't.  I think this patch is great and I'm going
to keep it in there for a while.  I hope you enjoy this as much
as I have had making it.  If you want to contact me for some odd

************  Additional Disclaimer for v2.0  *************

Why do I call this v2.0?  
I converted the full metal jacket sounds to pwad form and found that the size
of the thing went from 1.7+ megs unzipped to a mere 200+k uncompressed.  A 
definite improvement by any measure of the word.  I guess too high of a sampling
rate was used, i.e. 44.1 khz.  Well anyway, here it is......
