Description info.	: There are three description sections. If you want to know the facts now, read the
			  rest of the  document! If you want a brief summery, read "short". If you want the
			  story of your last few minutes before the game starts, read "medium". If you want
			  the full story, read "long".

Short			:	You are being sent into a training program that malfunctioned a few minutes
			  after you entered. You are just a private in training for the first private rank.
			  You don't expect to live, but try anyway.

Medium			:	You are escourted out of the helicopter  by some sergeants.  They  lead you
			  towards a table loaded down with  ammo and small weapons. They  ask you to choose
			  your weapon and grab all the ammo you can in the next ten seconds. They start the
			  clock and you grab a double fire pistol, and load the bullets compartment of your
			  pack to almost overflowing. They are definitely impressed. They bid you good luck
			  and pull the red lever down to the yellow backing before telling you that you can
			  find food and water at the end elevator of each section.
				You take a deep breath  and enter the elevator to your first training area.
			  You have heard  from others that recieved this training that the enemies start at
			  a hard difficulty,  and evolve and create new opponents  after learning your weak
			  points. The  entire thing is all fake, but you can feel the pain  nontheless. The
			  elevator jerks and continues as a voice comes in over the elevators intercom.
				"The systems controll board is  malfuntioning! The safety stops are burning
			  out! Don't send the private in!" Another, more distant voice kicks in.
				"There is one  coming this way!  Oh my God!  AHHHHHHHH..." There is nothing
			  but silence now. If only they had fucked up erlier! Now  you are traped until the
			  end comes. You decide to just move on. If you don't, you'll starve anyway...

Long			:	A man is passing out  mail and notices to the soldiers  in the bunking area
			  you are located in. He calles out your name, and you grab an envelope. It says...

Congradulations:
				You have been chosen for the new rank advancement training facility located
			  in a classified area. If you pass, you are promoted to the next military rank. In
			  your case, you  will become a first private. It involves many obsticals and other
			  surprises fo you to navigate. We can give you no other information on the subject
			  except to say that  you may ask others about the course. They already know not to
			  give you the solutions to any  puzzels. If you decide to decline this course, you
			  will not be able to use the  other courses for future ranks  that are being built
			  right now. If you choose to  accept and fail, you will not die. Instead, you will
			  be able to pay money  out of your own pocket to retake the  course, and will gain
			  more points toward advancement as you proceed farther into the complex.
				You will be picked up  tomarrow, unless you report in  to tell  us that you
			  have chosen to decline our offer.

Thank you for your time.

You recall that one of the higher ranking  individuals in this  area helped
			  with the designing of the  facility. He can give  you some information on it. The
			  problem is his  personality. You get headaches just  thinking about his voice. It
			  never ceases to amaze  you that he never strains  a vocal chord. You put  on your
			  jacket, so that he won't complain about that too, and head off towards his office
			  room and try to calm your already rising headache.

"So." yells Major Hendrex, "You have been chosen to participate in the best
			  available training program. Good for you maggot! I will only tell you that I came
			  up with the  information for the enemies  you will face. They  evolve as you move
			  farther into the training  facility. I warned the scientists that these creatures
			  would be very deadly if the sfety stops shorted  out. They said that the only way
			  to keep the difficulty  and make it safer was to use the same motherboard for the
			  safety  stops and  the evelution  program.  So you will eventually  find yourself
			  wishing that the stops had shorted out before the enemies got so damned hard! The
			  best stratigy in that place is to run maggot! Run like the coward you are and you
			  will stand a better chance of living. You  will miss  out on a lot of weapons and
			  ammo, and  when you have to fight my 'guardians' you will be on the bottom of the
			  food chain! It lasts for about a week or more maggot. so if you can't stand being
			  away from your porno  magizines for  that long, then  you don't deserve to go! So
			  you better get the hell out of here and come back to me sucessful, or you will be
			  the sorriest maggot on the face of this planet!"
				You go back to your bed and grab some  asprin.  After washing it  down, you
			  lay down and  start to sleep. Today is a holiday, one of the  few that they don't
			  force the soldiers with nothing to do to work, so  you are able  to sleep the day
			  and the night away. At least you won't get too tired during the week...
				The next day, at 6 o'clock in the morning, you are woken up by some men who
			  are definitely not from  around this base. "Come on. Time to get moving. The ride
			  is going to take us around six hours, so you can sleep some more later."
				The helecopter is one of the quieter models, and you get to sleep in hardly
			  no time at all. You are enjoying a great dream, when you are woken up again.

* Play Information *

Game			: THE ULTIMATE DOOM version 1.9
Players Allowed		: Changes affect all players (Dmatch, Coop, and single)
Sounds			: No, but a few sounds use different, already existing sounds.
Graphics		: No, but some sprites use different, already existing graphics.
New Music               : No
Other Effects		: The rocket launcher was transformed into a smoke  spewer,  but don't expect it to win any awards...
			  Changes a lot  of text,  especially  the end of level texts shown after  completeing  the episodes.
			  Fists don't exist,  but a faster  chainsaw as well as a normal one that you  begin  with does.  The
			  'turbo saw'  is affected by the  berserk pack,  as well as the starting saw.  Plasma rifle that has
			  radius damage. Monsters edited (All I think,  they all should keep you very busy >:)  Ammo maximums
			  and  ammo\item  numbers changed.  Various  command-line  parameters have been  disabled  (including
			  nomonsters,  but monsters  can't ever  exist in deathmatches  anyway,  except maybe the  'livivng '
			  barrel...) In deathmatch and cooperative play (I hope in deathmatch) the player looks dead when not
			  doing anything  else. Barons of Hell  sling turds at you.  Cacodemon is like most monsters are now,
			  faster, meaner, and deadlier, but cacoes have a chrone colored eye. Specter somewhat tougher than a
			  demon. If the Spider Mastermind (now green player) didn't shoot, and ran straight,  it could outrun
			  the player if he\she didn't have turbo on. Teleport is deathmatch player death noise, can also make
			  some very  convincing illusions  if a person isn't  looking during  multiplay  (players  look dead,
			  remember? And no teleport flash either...) 'Spiderdemon' is finally harder (in more ways)  than the
			  'cyberdemon' (don't get too close to him, even when shooting the other direction he can 'burn'  you
			  to the ground.  Be afraid, be very afraid.  {:o  Got it?).

Known Side effects      : Stimpacks and medkits  only boost health  to 100%, and I wanted a 1,000% maximum.
(no bugs known)		  So medkits and stimpacks  are soulspheres (but they all give a 20% health  boost,
			  not 100%. Just a warning...)

Bonus!! Special exe for deathmatches (Dedmatch) that causes the following effects: health starts at 10,000;
no way to increase health;  soulspheres will not  affect health  (don't tell your friends and you wont have
them for long...);  monsters will not  ever appear; uses teleport  trick above  (can't see it, player looks
dead when still, makes death noise); player has explodeing death replaced by barrel death  (don't overdo it
man!); BFG 9,000 doesn't exist; armor maximum same as health (armor and helments exist still);  higher ammo
maximums (bullets 350, cells 450, rockets 75, and shells 100. Ammo per item is same.);  and start with full
bullets! If any affect  described above doesn't  work in deathmatch, sorry. There isn't  anyone around here
with the required multiplayer equipment and Doom that I can find!
