| This is dated December 1997. It's a cheap and cheerful castle level, mildly diverting, with only one tricky bit. The design feels dated even for 1997, with a couple of obvious HOM errors. Amusing semi-final battle. Not hard overall; one of those maps where you end up hoarding plasma cells that you never use (in this case there *is* a boss monster, but you can ignore it). | x | | it was fun | x | | There is a major bug in the room with narrow bridge over acid pool: the door can only be opened via the skull switch. If you try to open it like a regular door, it'll break the entire map (only linedef type 1 can be used with sector tag 0, others affect the entire map). Pretty good level otherwise. | x |
