Quite a cool wad, with a few modified enemies, like a wierd 'neon' revenant, baby arachnotrons who bite you, shotgun guys with jetpacks and "rocket" launchers...the levels are decent too, though quite hard, non-doom-gods are advised to avoid UV	x
There's better WADs out there.	x

I was wondering if a wad could live up to such a cool name (it has a Robert E. Howard feel to it) and this one actually does well. It's a good design, intense and action packed. The name of the author is a slightly dipshit move though. 4/5 GreazyShorts	x

Level #                 : MAP01 thru MAP09.
                          This PWAD should run on DOOM ][ 
                          versions 1.2 thru 1.9.

Play notes: These levels will not be very good
            on anything less than a 486/66 w/ LB video.
            To play Reign of the Spider Gods, the install 
            partition must have 7.5 meg free in order to 
            unpack the RSG.ZIP archive and then an
            additional 4.5 meg free to install the
            sprites or 12 meg total free. If this is
            true, then proceed as follows:

Unzip the RSG.ZIP archive so 
            that its contents reside in the same
            directory as your DOOM2 binaries then
            run the DOS program RSG.EXE to
            install the sprites and/or run the game
            afterwards. RSG recoqnizes the following
            OPTIONAL command line arguments:

-RESPONSE = Use external response
                        file 'RSG.RSP' if it exists
                        in the current directory.
            -HELP     = pages this file.

If this is not desirable or practical,
            then issue the following DOS commands:

DEUSF -SPRITES -ADD RSPRITE.WAD RSG_FX.WAD
            to install the sprites, and then:

DOOM2 -FILE RSG_FX.WAD RSG.WAD
            to run the game afterwards.

The RSG.ZIP archive should contain:
