Hmm. This has some proper gameplay, but it's really old, so this rating is only relevant if you don't mind playing vintage wads. 4/5 - Belialx

This is from July 1994. It has nothing to do with the real E1M1. It's not bad though - you can run past a lot of the monsters, and the layout is nothing special, but it's more competent than most levels of the period. It's a mid-sized labyrinth with no real theme, although the textures are consistent within each area; not at all hard, unless you get cornered by a herd (swarm?) of spectres.x

Hard to believe it's from 1994... Only some minor imperfections in this E2 style map. Gameplay is outstanding the whole way through. Be sure to look for the chainsaw, you're gonna need it! ;)x

Rather "random" in design yet the texture choices have some charm and work out with the simple and archaic architecture. Play is relatively easy but rather balanced. [3/5] ~Chain Mail (07/2011)x
