| This is E1M1. It's dated 2005, although it feels like a good 1994/95 level. E.g. you get a soul sphere before fighting a baron of hell, because in those days barons of hell were hardcore. It's very simple and square and pleasantly nostalgic. Hard to dislike, although trivial. It doesn't lead up to anything (the boss battles are in the middle, the end is just a corridor). You get a berzerk pack near the start, and it's a decent Tyson level. | x |
