Title: Equinoxio

Description: (uploader's note: approximate translation of a quite bizarre spanish): Is a very strange map, the ambientation is very strange because it seems a canyon with some vegetation, and in this map appears a sort of evil castle guarded with a big wall. Another thing, when you're in the labyrinthic mines, follow the candles until reaching the switch.

This is dated May 2006. You fight - or dodge past - 241 baddies in a series of outdoorsy canyons with some caverns and battlements. It's a nice size, big but not baffling, but there's a lengthy maze that's a pain to navigate. You get a mass of plasma ammo against generally weak baddies, although there are lots of them, so it never gets boring. Tonnes of health too. It's atmospheric and the detailing is classic Doom II.x

It's not the best map, but it's far from the worst. 3/5x

The level looks great, but there seems to be no difference between "Ultra Violence" and "Hurt Me Plenty"... Also: it was a bit too dark for my taste, but well it is an a-ok level, so 3/5!x

I love the setting here a lot. Big areas in canyons with wooden walls where if you climb up somewhere you can see from the other side. It played well. 5/5 - Optimusx

The map's of Cabro's Tournament are "Classical Doom Maps" only with the special features of Doom2. I like Equinoxio, but for me is very dark and opressive... 4/5 x

Nice medium-sized map with good detail. Easy to complete if you can find the way to escape first area. I played with IDMUS27. But why advanced engine needed? I havent noticed any zdoom features. 3/5x
