UPDATE NOTES            : This is a rerelease of the original ROKS with a few
                          corrections. Stev Federov found two missing upper 
                          textures on a rafter,  also found a missing upper
                          texture outside, and made the torch posts self-referencing
                          sectors, making them cleaner looking and HOM free.

I also ran CLEANWAD.EXE on all WADs, resulting in a 
                          much cleaner package overall, and included the texture
                          WAD GOTHICTX.WAD (it was stupid to not include it...).

Conside this a minor update, and is not required, since only
                          cleanup has been done.

Game                    : DOOM II
Source Port             : DOOM Legacy or ZDOOM preferred, any other port
                          with extended linedef support will work fine
Episode and Level #     : MAP01
Single Player           : Only for looking or playing BOTs
                          (works really well with about 4 BOTs)
Cooperative 2-4 Player  : No
Deathmatch 2-4 Player   : Yes (should be able to handle 10 max)
Difficulty Settings     : Yes
                          -skill 1/2 -ambient sounds, lots of ammo and health
                          -skill 3   -lots of ammo and health
                          -skill 4/5 -less ammo and health (competition mode) 
                           (skills 3-5 have no ambient sounds)

= Installing ROKS =
===================

Unzip ROKS.ZIP to your DOOM2 directory using directory structure.

ex. pkunzip roks.zip -do

You should have something that looks as such when complete:

C:\DOOM2\ROKS.BAT (startup file)
C:\DOOM2\ROKS\ROKS.DEH (DeHackEd patch file)
C:\DOOM2\ROKS\ROKS_MAP.WAD (map file)
C:\DOOM2\ROKS\ROKS_SND.WAD (sound and MIDI file)
C:\DOOM2\ROKS\ROKS_GFX.WAD (sprite graphics file)
C:\DOOM2\ROKS\GOTHICTX.WAD (texture file)

There is *NO* patch work needed (like using DeHackEd or DEU), the new
source ports can do that upon startup, and patching is no longer necessary.

= REQUIREMENTS =

You MUST have DOOM2 version 1.9 for this to work and a source port that can
handle extended linedef counts, like ZDOOM or DOOM Legacy.
