Description: |
A big fan of M.C. Escher, what a genius. I have tried my best to make a quality wad, with enough escher and escherish stuff in it. I tried not to put to much stuff in it so it wouldn't be too large or too slow. What good is a wad if you can't deathmatch 4-way on it - quick! Design is kept fairly simple to insure a good playing speed and plenty of frags.
Many new textures. A couple extra sounds. The plasma gun can be gotten maybe not in a high pressure situation. Don't be too greedy. |

M.C. Escher a brilliant artist and true genius, his imagination and originality is astonishing.
The numerous escher sites on the web. I had to go through a zillion and one pics to get the right ones. Glad there are a lot out there.
Dan Teeter. I borrowed the coolest sky texture from his amazing surreal.wad. That is a quality piece of work. Very Impressed!!
and of course Mr. Y and Mr. X for some ideas testing and whatever. |

| You might expect from the name that this is a cleverly-designed homage to some of Escher's mindbending 3D woodcuts. But it isn't; it's a dull old-fashioned deathmatch level with a (very) few Escher scans used as wall textures. | x |
