Description: Littlefang. First stop on your journey to the Planes of Desolation. A lone wooden keep stands at the center of a grass-covered slab of rock that floats through an endless cloudy sky. The gate that brought you here closes behind you with a familiar flash of green light. You know what your mission is: Find the master of the keep, the Arch-Duke of Vileness himself and destroy him. From his dead hands you must wrest the golden skull key and activate the final portal that will lead you to the Elemental Realms. You believe that portal is hidden deep underground somewhere, and is probably guarded by more than just the Duke's demonic minions. The old wizard's final advice to you was:

"You shall never be alone, keep moving, and WATCH YOUR ASS!!"
Credits: Shaun Lederhaus For providing me with a constant source of inspiration with the crazy things he was always trying to do in his wads! Also my most diligent playtester ("I'm addicted to this wad!") and the only man besides myself to pass it on UV. My Playtesters: Shawn Gerty, Mike Johnston, and Joshua Ransen. My wife, Ilana Noten, for putting up with my obsession with wad-editing. David Wexler for sounds from his WEXMAN4D.WAD... I'm not totally sure where I got all the sounds from (my DOOM II directory is kind of messy..) so if you recognize one of them: "Hey thanks for the sound man!" -from me... And, of course, the Wizards at Id for making DOOM!!
Base: New level from scratch
Build time: Don't bother asking (months and months...)
Editor(s) used: DCK v2.2, NWT, Wintex 3.41, RMB v1.03. (DCK rules!)
Bugs: I worked for countless hours hunting down and slaying each and every little bug in this baby... And when I found them I BLEW THEM AWAY!!! (if you find one, pleeeeease let me know about it!)

This is dated January 1996. It's an odd one. Ostensibly - God, I love that word - it's a deathmatch level, but it's too large and complex for that (with four players it would be a lonely experience). As a single-player map it's just about okay; the castle-type layout is simple and suffers from being too symmetrical, but there's a decent monster count. Doesn't amount to much though.x
