| Not bad, lacks detail but fun to play. | x | | absolute sexness, ***** | x | | reminds me of final doom nice job 5/5 | x | | I was disappointed with this. The map design is simple to the point of being minimalist, with lots of plain, square rooms and wide corridors. It's a kind of Ikea Doom, very tasteful and clean, although a bit dull. There's plenty of action against mostly weak monsters, including some from Doom 2. What with the sound effects, it reminded me of Playstation Doom's unornamented versions of the E1 levels. The final level is well-presented but a pushover. | x | | To the last reviewer Go and play the Gold edition if you want more detail chump..... http://www.doomworld .com/idgames/index.p hp?id=12578 | x | | Plays like the Gold Edition; however, this version is very, very basic on architecture. 4/5 for the wad but unless you're craving "true" oldschool in all aspects play scge.zip instead. | x | | Very Good | x |
