| Description: |
A castle wad that actually looks like a castle, complete with moat, battlements, and (of course) many, many secret passages. No new graphics, but creative use of the defaults. Quite challenging at ultra-violent. No cheating required. |

| rather OK 3/5 - PerOxyd | x | | This is dated May 1996. It's Map01. It's basically a typical castle level, larger and more detailed than most, with almost 300 monsters. It's not bad, but suffers from the old problem whereby there are lots of small, cramped, similar-looking rooms, and you also have to navigate a lot of similar-looking battlements etc. Nonetheless it's pretty good for the genre. There are lots of hidden bits and the progression isn't too obscure. | x | | liked | x | | The castle is nice and complex but unbearably confusing, prepare to open doom editor every 30 seconds unless you enjoy humping walls. | x |
