| An '06 release and this dude still has an old 486/33 (wonder if it's DX?). This wad failed with DOOM2.EXE and Legacy. So 0/5 -jb | x | | Dude, it's for Doom/Ultimate Doom (and works fine), and it's a map from 1995, uploaded in 2006. | x | | This is dated February 1995. It's a pretty decent E1-style techbase, marred by some inescapable slime pits, and more significantly by the fact that it's totally derivative and unexceptional. It could be any one of a thousand levels where you have to collect three keys and then exit after fighting just under a hundred of the weaker monsters with a Baron of Hell at the end. As an E1M1 it would be okay. The same author went on to do id=3846, which was much better. | x |
