| Have some okay gameplay, but it breaks with the annoying ugly texture themes (like the nukeslad room). Play it for gameplay, not for eye candy. | x | | This is dated March 1995. It's E2M6. You fight 109 baddies in a level of indeterminate theme; each room has a different set of textures, so it's a techbase dungeon slime maze castle. The action is decent although the rooms are basic. With a bit of polish it would be pretty good. Suffers from being very easy (you get an invulnerability sphere to help you against a pair of cacodemons, at one point). Oddly, the most challenging fight is in an obtuse secret section. | x | | Not bad, only trouble was the hidden teleporter (had to guess how to exit the big nukage room, got lucky). | x |
